Yesterday we saw the surgeon again. Yes, I was a little on the anxiety mode for going back to the hospital. Just not ready to see that place again! But, J was in good spirits. He let the nurses do his vitals and all were good. He has been running a low grade fever of 99.7 for almost 2 weeks, but they say it's normal. Really? He also has lost 12 lbs, which I think isn't too bad considering some lose more. J shouldn't have and doesn't have any to lose, so the trick is, to put it back on! The surgeon gave the okay that everything was going good. Talked to the "wound" nurse and told her our dilemma of the adhesive and she gave some great advice. So we'll try that. J was all in smiles, showing them his little guys. The surgeon made a comment that this was the most he has seen J talk and interact with people and SMILE. That's right folks...IT'S BACK!!!
