J has actually be doing a lot better since he was given (by GR) a new herbal supplement that has helped that poop thing. So we thought of taking him to school. They are in session for just a couple hours 3x a week. One week in June (we missed that due to vacation) and then 2 different weeks in July with another week in August. I was thinking this would help J transition a little better for school.
That went out the door when I heard his teacher and her aides were all going to be gone. UGH! Trusting teachers is NOT my strong point! So, so frustrating! It literally takes almost a whole year for a teacher to understand J and his behaviors that come with his stomach that come with doctors that know nothing!
So, question would be...why in heavens name am I taking him to school, when transitioning isn't going to really take place because his "former" teacher is the one that is with him during the summer, then when "real" school starts a whole new ballgame? Does he really need this? That would be 2 transitions that would only need to be 1...HMMMM
Is he going to meet the new teacher/aides...etc before school? Are they going to treat him wonderfully like the last years teachers and aides....

I'm just hoping there are more patient angels out there and not "devils" that prejudge! Been there, done that!
